Very nice. The Queen knits a lot, she meets one a two times per week with a knitting group. She doesn't leave the house without her knitting bag.

Very nice!

My mother and grandmother both knitted and crocheted, so I have an appreciation for the craft.
thank you! I taught myself actually with a Craftsy class online about 5 years ago. No one in my family knitted and since I designed samplers and cross stitched I really wanted to knit. Went to one class about 8 years ago as a gift someone gave me for Christmas and I went home and got lost on my mistake. So I put it down. Then I was determine to learn. Went to Craftsy.com and went through an 8 hour class and now I watch alot of Podcasts on You tube for knitting that helps too.
One good thing about the internet and You tube!

I am living in the mountains and it's isolated pretty much and great for an introvert but I looked at the White County group on facebook and have been thinking about starting a group. I used to stop by Clarkesville at the yarn store and go to knit group and it was fun. Men and women came and we just had fun knitting and talking.
She is like me, I don't go anywhere without my knit bag. Last week I went to get a shoulder MRI and was in the back waiting with the gown on for them to call me and I was still knitting. The guy came and looked at me oddly because I had put everything else in locker and he said, Mam you are going to have to put that down now. I said, I'm almost finished with the end of the row.........and then shoved it in the locker and went with him.
Since Daddy has been on life support, I've knitted so much it's unreal. It takes my mind off somewhat of things.
