DeSantis 2024.....now 2028?

The Twitter thing isn't working out too well. It can't handle the load of everyone trying to listen.

I got in with no problem.

It's a good ad, but I think at some point he needs to expand beyond bragging on Florida and go into more detail of how he will change things for the country. The attack ads have already started to try and change the perception of how things are in Florida, and they will do their best to paint Florida as a mess so as to undercut his message and take away his credibility.

He needs to get out in front of all that with solid plans for fixing America. And he needs to do all this by demonstrating he's tough, but compassionate at the same time. That's what could distinguish him from Trump, always show love and compassion for the American people as his driving force. Hopefully, he and his campaign people know this.

I would expect that the polls will shift toward him somewhat now that he's official. The question is how much?

Either way, it's gonna be a long and ugly election season. And I fully expect some major crap to happen; war, another pandemic, economic craziness, cat plague, etc. As much of an old politics dog as I am, I'm kinda not looking forward to it.

Some people think this Disney thing is going to backfire on DeSantis. Since taking a public stand supporting woke BS, Disney's stock values have plummeted. They've had to lay off more than four thousand of its employees. Look at how Bud Light is losing its ass after its marketing disaster with Mulvaney. Now look at how Target has lost $9B in a week because of their LGBTQ+/Satanic support. Conservatives are finally taking a stand and boycotting these companies.

ETA: Trump blasted DeSantis for his Disney decision. Where does Trump draw the line when it comes to this woke BS? His position is not exactly clear.

Mexico's president is telling Hispanics in the US not to vote for DeSantis. He doesn't want his people or immigrants passing through is country to get to ours being stuck in his. The more of his people who come to the US, the more money his government saves to go into crooked politicians' pockets.

This begs the question, why does he not want his people in his country? The only reasonable answer is that at least some of them must be "undesirable".
