10th Anniversary on the 911 coming up soon.....

There is always risk of another attack; there is no possible way any leader, any fighting force, intel agency, or law enforcement can prevent it with 100% accuracy.

However...I do think we're safer now than we were thanks to the armed forces and intelligence community under the leadership of George W. Bush. He might not have done everything right, but he led our country well where national security was concerned.

It's always prudent to take reasonable precautions, but I refuse to live my life in fear. If we do, the terrorists have won.

9/11 will be just like any other day for me; except I will be in prayer for my country and those who's lives were lost or impacted by terrorist attacks. And I will never forget. :TROOPS

Ed Zachary. I had MAJOR disagreements with him in many areas (I being more conservative than he), but he did keep us safe, and for that, he remains a great President in my eyes. I mean, if we're all dead in a pile, it doesn't really matter what we think about illegal immigration, etc. This is the ONLY reason I would ever vote for another RINO for President, and only one at that (that I can think of) - Rudy Giuliani. He knows security, and we're gonna need that after we ever get Jimmah Cahtah Redux out of there.

One of my favorite GW moments was when he marched out on that pitcher's mound at the Yankees game when they first started playing again after 9/11...you could see the set to his face, just DARING somebody to take a shot at him. Still brings tears to my eyes. And it was a manly-man pitch, too...not some girly whackadoo toss.

I personally think we had the best team during that awful time that we could have had (as in Esther, for such a time as this) - GW, Mr. Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld. Would not ever want to play poker with any of the three.
