3D movies...disappointed

Driver In Training
Every time I go to see a movie in 3D and pay the extra money I end up feeling disappointed. I think I was looking for Harry Potter to fly into my face or for an action scene from Transformers have me back into my seat. But, yet, that is never what is happening..why? Most of the 3D seems to be going into the screen instead of coming out towards the view.

Anyone else expected more and feels like they got less?

I always thought so too. I haven't been to a movie in quite some time.

years ago i went to see "Chicken Little" in 3D with my kids... it was great. I was ducking in my chair. None of the recent ones have much popping out the screen

I took my daughter to see Cars 2 in 3D. I have to admit I was a little disappointed. I would never tell her that, she loved it!
