Am I the only one?

Come to think of it, the traffic will be WORSE! :-X

That stinks! I have to be at a 10:00 meeting in the morning. :-[

The 5th grader went back today, so I'm good. We enjoyed the holidays so much this year - it was much more relaxing than ever before!

But I am counting the days to Winter Break! :)

Not looking forward to getting behind school buses. I'd like to know how much productivity is lost to wasted time behind them. :p

I'm not looking forward to the normal traffic flow this morning.

well my commute to work is only 6 miles so the traffic really doesn't affect me. I however am going to miss that extra hour of sleep I was getting every morning. Now it's back to the grind of screaming the same sentences over and over such as, get up, come on time to get up, get in the shower, ok shower has to be cold by now, time to get out, hurry get dressed, your gonna miss the bus...brush your hair, brush your teeth, get your coat on..uggh..I repeat those over and over and over and over..and that's just with my 12 year old! My 16 year old...I scream at her LETS GO!!!! atleast 15 times..child takes forever! I will be so glad when I can afford to buy her a car so she can drive herself to school and I can leave when I'm ready!

But to answer to your original question.............NO I wasn't ready for it to start back today :)) :)) :)) sorry went around the world to get to that answer, but thanks for letting me vent :D

I was VERY ready for them to go back to school. I had to get up and go to work regardless, so that meant my kids had run of the house. That also meant grocery and electric bills go up.

We'll have whining, and procrastination. So I guess we'll be working a little longer today.

Our daughter is always slow getting ready. She waits until the last possible minute and then complains she doesn't have enough time. I told her I had an easy solution - I could get her up at 5 when I get up. That didn't set well with her. :))

told my kid this morning that she will start getting up at 6am and that would give her 20 extra minutes to get ready and if she wasn't ready to leave by 740 every morning she would be left. She was like no mom, I like sleeping till 630, I'll just start taking my shower at night...hahaha we'll see how well that goes over

School starting back means alarm goes off @5:30 for the wife(teacher) to start her day, we get the kids up @ 6:00am to get them ready they are 1st & 2nd grade and ride to school with mommy. After they hit the road then I start my day.

Day 2 and the moaning and complaining has begun. And that's just me and the husband.
