The current Police Chief of Hiram, Jamie Sailors, is leaving after a little less than 2 years in office to take the Chief Deputy position for the new Sheriff in Haralson County.

Funny how things happen ain't it?

I obviously don't know for sure, but I believe he still lives in Carrolton, although the policy states he was supposed to move to Paulding within the year. I guess the chance of taking Chief Deputy in a larger agency closer to home might be a little more attractive.
