I swear these fools can't explain anything with their model... but they think the world is going to continue to redistribute our wealth in the name of climate change... How is poor little Greta Thunberg gonna feel now... she will have to go back to school where she said she should be... on the other side of the ocean. Oh, and on that note, her life in Sweden is gonna suck if the land there never thaws to grow any food... of course ice ages take a while to happen.

“One key question in the field is still what caused the Earth to periodically cycle in and out of ice ages,” University of Chicago professor and the study's co-author, Malte Jansen, said in a statement. “We are pretty confident that the carbon balance between the atmosphere and ocean must have changed, but we don’t quite know how or why."

I have such a low opinion of Chicago... but this "professor" really just said in print "One key question in the field is still what caused the Earth to periodically cycle in and out of ice ages." I wish the man were kicked out of his job for his stupidity.
Until they look at the sun, and the orbit of the earth, and how there is a little wobble... they will continue to have their models fail. Instead they look to blame you and I... how else will they steal our money legally with carbon taxes and such....?

This whole thing is rather odd... now it comes out Greta Thunberg is Autistic. The fear her parents have allowed to perpetuate into perhaps a child who does not have the skills to deal with what to her is the end of the world is shocking. Often autistic children are simple in their understanding of the world... no wonder she attacks climate change like her life depends on it. She may be so simple she truly thinks she will die... soon. Shame on her parents.

So Meat Loaf caused a little kerfuffle this weekend by saying he thought Greta Thunberg had been "brainwashed."
I don't know that should be a surprise, but it got me thinking about her again. I have a lot of sympathy for the kid.
For me, it started with seeing her picture. She's small, slight, even scrawny; her head looks out of proportion to her body. She's now 17 (as of 3 January) but she still looks childlike, prepubertal, younger than her 14-year-old sister.

She suffers from "selective mutism", which means basically that there are situations in which she's unable to speak.
She's said that this means she only "speaks when she thinks it's necessary." This includes speaking to the UN General Assembly, but in interviews, her mother often speaks for her.
Her public career started when she took Fridays off from school to hold up a sign outside the Swedish Parliament; this grew into a movement that spread throughout Europe.
Through it all, things keep striking me as odd. I don't know what it's like in Sweden, but cutting classes one day a week isn't normally feted as heroic in the US. And she hasn't been attending school for months as she traveled. In the US, that's called "dropping out".
So, this is what we're being asked to believe: that an autistic kid with OCD who often can't speak on her own has

Ya know...I've tried to take it easy on her because she's just a kid. Yes, I figured her parents were the reason she is so upside down with emotion about all this. Shame on them preying on their autistic/asberger daughter making her so afraid.I’m shocked, I say shocked.
Then using her, literally, by making a fake facebook page ...apparently followed by many of the brainwashed masses.
