I have posted pix of what I can do on my embroidery machine but here is another idea if you don't have that option. Try appliques. There are tons of them out there. Lots of youtube vids and websites to get free patterns. I think you can do some really great projects with them.

These girls do a great video of embroidery and applique the same design. Love that option!

I have to say I am going to try the appliques as a future project myself.
 
I've bought a few iron on appliques, but I have no idea if my sewing machine will do them. Maybe I will take it out of the box one day and find out... :whistle

I am in serious need of a new machine. I think I'd like to try some embroidery until I get a new machine. I think I feel a trip to Hobby Lobby coming on this weekend!

awww, yes you should!


More than likely, I will continue with the iron ons - life is much simpler when I can just turn on the iron and add the finished product....
