Baby Hats!

Here's two of the baby hats I have made. I had extra material left so I made a matching burp cloth, too.

Madea, thanks for posting that Prudent Baby site. I LOVE it, and have shared it with some friends. One of which has already been doing some of the projects.

Anyway, making these hats have proven to be a great way to learn how to use my machine, and learn how to sew. :slappy

I love that fabric, too! I made those for a friend that is expecting a girl in about a week or two. The picture is dark, but it's brown with different shades of pink circles. I got it at Hobby Lobby at $5.99 a yard. I used about a half yard on all three. The burp cloth is folded up, but its about the average burp cloth size.

I am new at this, and these took me less than an hour and a half to make all three, from start to finish, including cutting the pattern out, etc.

You're doing great MrsB. I loved sewing for my babies when they were little. I quit when I had to put zippers in jeans, not the easiest thing to do. lol
