I had to buy a TV last week to set up a training center in the office. Due to the COVID-19 virus, some of the manufacturers are doing online training instead of physical classes, and we are in the process of picking up factory authorized service for a major manufacturer. The online training is actually much easier and less costly for us.

Anyway...Best Buy has instituted a "Contactless" pickup system. You order what you want off the website, and it lets you know when your order is ready. Pull into the parking lot and click on a link to let them know you are there, and they bring your order to your vehicle and load it for you.

No signatures, no contact. It was very smooth and went well. Kudos to them for making this happen.
 
I want them to install a new radio with a backup cam in my pickup,,, wonder how long I should wait? This thing will not have an end date, per se, but will slowly drift out.

I'm not sure if they are doing installs or not. Might wanna call them
 
We went to Sam's last week and used Senior's Concierge. You pull up on the side and park and they come to you and let you write down your cell phone number and list of what you want. They go in and get it and bring it out and put it in your car, then swipe your credit card at the car. The phone number is if they don't have exactly what you want and offer a substitute. It all worked fairly well, but because of my wife they now have a limit of 2,250 items on a list... just kidding, they'll take most any sized list, refuse to take a tip and are meticulous about sanitizing everything both parties touch. They even offered free water or juice while we waited.
Senior Concierge is available during Senior Only hours, which are 7 am to 9 am, I believe on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
 
Oh, my daughter loves that. With two little ones in tow, big help.
My kid is one of the online grocery shoppers for the Dallas Walmart. They get so many orders (even before this pandemic) that sometimes they have to cancel some so be patient with them. They are understaffed in that area because so many workers just decide to call in or not show up. I promise they are working hard so please be nice to them.
