Bullies Scalp Little Girl...

While I do agree with those that feel it is inappropriate for an eight year old to have hair extensions (outside of a medical situation) there is not a a chance in h*ll that I would ever excuse that type of behavior from the reported bullies.

Here's a little problem though ... so far the school has been unable to find any proof of the bullying, according to a report that I saw last night.

Well, there is no justification for what they did.

But this goes way beyond bullying; this is assault. I'm not sure what the law allows for minors in cases like this, but they need to get whatever the harshest punishment allowable is.

I had not heard that.

It was on one of the TV news broadcasts yesterday.

If it turns out that this was bullying, they should absolutely be dealt with harshly.

:thumbsup I read the article and watched the WSB newscast, but I am sure it was the first one. They only mentioned the school, not any response to the allegation.

I did just find this in another piece ...

...One student from the elementary school has been suspended as a result...

So I'm wondering if it was a misreport, if there was a fight vs. a bullying incident, or an update. :dunno
