California once had mobile hospitals and a ventilator stockpile. But it dismantled them

If there is one thing each state should do for now on, it's maintain a stockpile of N95 respirators, ventilators, mobile hospitals, and a much better plan for pandemics. If it turns out COVID-19 is seasonal, we will face it again next year. If so, each state has to be prepared; especially if there is no vaccine available to prevent it. COVID-19 is not the only disaster the states and federal government need to be prepared for.

Terrorist organizations would have no qualms of releasing a biological agent if they were able to. That isn't far fetched now that they have seen what COVID-19 has done to the world. This is another reason why our borders need to be much more secure than they are now. Terrorist organizations don't need a biological bomb; they could smuggle into the country people who are infected with a deadly biological disease and have them placed in large cities like LA, Chicago, Atlanta, and NYC so that it spreads quickly.

This is a much more dangerous world than it was 30 years ago.
