Seems most either love him or hate him, but there's no denying the tremendous impact Rush Limbaugh has made on talk radio and a political awakening in this country.
I started listening to him when the Gulf War began. I was on the road every day then; we didn't have XM Radio or smart phones, the internet was still young, and he gave regular updates on what was going on with the war.
Rush opened my eyes, as well as a lot of other people's about just how rotten Washington was, and it's largely due to him that I question government as I do today.
I'm behind a desk now and usually with a phone in my ear, so I almost never listen to him anymore. But I appreciate the contribution he made to educating the American People to politics.
