I do not see this as a good thing. Questions come to mind...why is this happening, and can it be prevented? I can speculate some...a lot of churches have lost their way and don't minister well to people, some of the televangelists do more harm than good, and faith is definitely under attack from many groups.

But still...this is extremely concerning!

A large part of it is that too many have tried to make the faith more "modern' and adapting it to the present rather than being a guide and it's lost it's appeal as a guiding force.

The methodists are a mess right now.

A whole of of older churches have failed to change with the times. I don't mean changing the message of the Gospel, but how they do things. EX: To get kids and teens in now, you're competing against all kinds of stuff that didn't used to exist, so we must have programs and stuff to get them interested and come so we can tech them about Jesus.

There are old churches out there on every corner that are dying along with their membership from the last 50 years. They still have old time pastors that stand there and criticize everything that isn't the KJV, preach nothing but fire and damnation, instead of focusing on the love of Christ. You can't just tell people how rotten and sinful they are and expect them to come now, we have to demonstrate the wonderful thing we have so they will want it too.

I used to be a member here at a local Baptist Church in Dallas, but quite frankly my wife has been hurt more by the good Christian women at church than by the heathen women in the beer joints. Further, when the music sounds more like a Justin Bieber concert than a church choir, its time to ease on out and go for a long walk in the woods. I can't deal with wild screamo music in church.

I feel the same way regarding the music…and ear tickling “sermons.”

I think one reason it's become difficult to get the young involved in church is the left. The left uses public schools to indoctrinate youth that the government has all the answers, not God. The left demonizes Christianity as something bad. I've heard many on the left say what happened on Jan. 6th was an evangelical movement to take control of the government.

It's to be expected and revealed in the last Book. That path is narrow.
