Cool serving tray idea. And it\'s almost free to make!

A number of years ago I found this old frame at a yard sale. The frame was a about 25"x18"-ish. I bought it for about 50 cents and then didn't do a thing with it for a long time. I just figured "a frame that large for 50 cents...I can find a print or something to put in it". A while later I cut a picture off of a large wall calendar that I liked, put it in the frame and then bought two antiqued drawer handles from the hardware store. I distressed the frame and then screwed the handles onto the edge of the 18" sides of the frame and VOILA! I had a really cute, shabby-chic serving tray! I've loved it ever since. It was so easy, and cheap, to make! I'll take a pic and post it.

I love recycling stuff and finding new uses for things. This has been one of my fav quick projects!

Cute! I can't wait to see a pic. About the closest I have come to recycling an old object is the whale picture in the other thread.

LOL It was that old picture frame from Goodwill for 1.21.
