What Americans are too stupid to do (Term Limits) a virus just might! There is some irony for you.
Three elected officials in San Diego County have come down with it. Two have been hospitalized. Neither are old though, I would say 40's.
It also comes to mind that this thing could really change congress if it really gets loose among all those 80 YO congress critters.

The Senate stays in DC to work on a coronavirus bill while the House takes one-week vacation. Just goes to show Pelosi is doing nothing more than trying to grandstand. If she weren't; she would have told House members to stay in DC and work on a bill at that time. She knew the Senate was staying and working on a bill, but she convinces Dems in the Senate to vote against it because she thinks she can get more of their agenda into a bill in the House. One example is she wants a coronavirus bill that forgives $10K in student loan debt. Another is she wants much higher payouts to individuals and wants to punish business. I predict a bill passed by House Democrats that does nothing to help rebuild the economy after this disaster is over. They don't want a healthy economy because it will hurt them at the polls. Pelosi is a fool.

Good I hope they delay and reconsider until things look good enough to cancel the whole bailout. Throwing money at the problem will not help it will just deepen the deficit and eventually cost you way more than you will ever get back. I do agree that this is political and Nancy is an idiot who hates what this country has stood for the last 200+ years. I disagree with the argument some people give that Nancy is a political genius. Being a self centered hippy bitch and blocking any progress in this country is not what I call genius. JMO.
Reminds me of something I read this weekend: Can we just tax the heck out of the virus until it goes away or does that just work on global warming?

One business I worked at we quoted slow pays higher rates, no one else would work with them due to the slow pay... so that was the best they got.
But yeah, the government has a bunch of hurdles to get things paid.
