My son is talking about moving to the Bay Area, specifically just northeast of Oakland.

Long story short --- he has a girlfriend who just accepted a job in San Francisco ( downtown )

It's a nice paycheck, but not enough to tolerate living in that mess - also too expensive

They could live in the East Bay and she could put in a coupe of years working there... enough experience to be able to transfer out, to somewhere sane.

She wants to leave Cali too (who doesn't ?)

It's a bummer. California has so much beauty and so many resources, and the climate is unbeatable.

It's been taken over by Marxists. Complete Bummer.
