"Part of the sub-headline in a feature article in Better Nutrition reads, "How the Margarine Craze Brought America to the Brink of Nutritional Armageddon." Margarine is partially hydrogenated vegetable oil. According to Dr. W. Willett, PhD, MD, of Harvard, "It can be conservatively estimated that approximately 30,000 deaths per year in the U.S. are attributable to trans fatty acids from partially hydrogenated vegetable oil." That is exactly what stick margarine is."

We use real butter in our house most of the time. I told my children we need to get back to eating our foods the way God intended. We've been cutting back on a lot of processed foods.

Butter here, too. It just tastes better. I can't help but picture that commercial with the whole stick of butter/margarine sticking out of the baked potato as mom serves it. :p

In spite of what they say, I think real butter is better for you than the fake stuff.
