I'm in a bad mood this morning. LOL

My facebook newsfeed is just full of Occupy junk, and how I should be supporting their cause. I don't. Please don't try to change my mind. Instead of posting crap on FB about it all day, put down your Macbook, and go look for a job. Or, even better, if you disagree with these evil corporations, then by all means don't buy a Venti Latte from Starbucks everyday, or a macbook, iPhone, US Magazine, etc. etc. etc. Stop using your internet to show AT&T who is boss. You support these unions supporting this cause, but in reality, while they are piddle farting around at these protests, there are thousands of people just dying for their jobs. I mean, come ON!

Arg! I am so irritated by this!!

Phew. I do feel a little better.

a) A primary reason I do not do FB. I got so tired of all the crap, privacy violations, etc.

2) I am not even listening to any news because all this junk is so irritating. I am not going to let these nitwits make my life unhappy. Morons.
 
Personally, I think their protests are great. Truly!

Free speech is good for our country. Right or wrong, agree or disagree, everyone should have the right to speak. That means their own opinions or the opinions of others they want to state (or be paid to state) as well.

Adversity always brings out the true character in people. I've seen a lot of people's true character lately, just by whether or not they participate or support this cause. ;)

You are RIGHT! And I agree with you 100%. I just get frustrated, lol. When I post my views, they attack me, and tell me I am ignorant.

But, IF, you are right. I feel better now. I was just so angry this morning, LOL!

Mei Lan, I suspended my FB account the other day. For 2 hours. I went into DTs. Haha! It's one of the only ways I stay connected since I can get it on my phone.

Yes, they have the right to free speech (even stupid speech). However, they do not have the right to parade naked, defecate on police cars, illegally camp out in public parks, turn public parks into the county dump, etc. Then when they are arrested, they play victim! UGH

I was going to do a post comparing their "protest" to the tea party, I just haven't had time.

I listen to Hannity during my afternoon/evening driving. He has interviewed several of them. Eye opening I'll tell you! :eek: Yesterday he interviewed a woman who had been parading around topless in Central Park. And another man discussing a picture on the internet of a man defecating on a police car and the trash in Central Park.
 
Didn't anyone tell them that being a Hippie is out of style? They are nothing but a bunch of snot nose, spoiled children....I don't care how old some of them are. I love summer, but can't wait until it's a Frozen Butt outside. Everyone should buy squirt guns and water them as you drive by....

I missed the interview with the naked woman yesterday, but enjoyed the conversation about the "Former Ex-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi." Love Hannity and his pure honesty!!
 
I miss Hannity, lol. I used to listen to him on my way home, too. Most of what I see are videos of the arrests. I watched a video today were all the people are repeating exactly what they guy with the bull horn was saying. Talk about individuality. :rollseyes:

I get frustrated becuase these corporations put food on the tables of many families. My husband works for a Fortune 500 company. If it weren't for this company, we'd be in the poor house.

I am also frustrated b/c I see junk like, "Why is it patriotic for a middle aged woman to wear a hat with tea bags hanging off it to a rally, but the 99%ers aren't?" Seriously? Really? Because when the TEA Party has a rally, they don't litter the parks, have sex in the open, take dumps in trash cans, and wonder around aimlessly provoking unrest. They are sheep. All of them. The repeating of the bull horn guy is perfect proof of that.

But, I digress. They have the right to free speech. However, I'd prefer it if they'd do it on Pennsylvania Ave.
 
They need to decide . . . do they like democracy or not? do they like capitalism or not? Their messages are polar opposite.
 
Some people are never going to be happy. Not if you hung them with a new damned rope or if they got a front row seat in Heaven.
Sad thing is that most of the people protesting, don't know WHAT they are protesting. I can't figure it out, myself. Are they protesting the fact that some people worked their arses off and have something to show for it? Are they protesting the American Dream? I'm confused.
I just know I don't deal well with stupidity and that's all I think this protesting crap is about. I think it is absolutely ridiculous that everyone wants something for nothing. It doesn't work that way.
Tow and I bust our asses AND I'm in school. Why? To better myself. Everyone is afforded the same opportunities I am. Hell, some are given many, many more...I'm not protesting. I'm putting along stressed out and worried about how I'm going to put gifts for our kids under our Christmas tree this year. Hell, I just told my mom if anyone asked, I needed books and tuition fees for my birthday and Christmas for school. GRRRRRRRR...these freaking "entitlement" people just piss me off.

Werd! Everyone I have seen on reports at these protests are protesting rich people. They are protesting the fact that wealth isn't evenly distributed.

I blame the libs for this. IMO, they have incited a class war. With their tax the wealthy more, etc. These young people that have never really owned anything, have never really worked for something, and are more excited over the next reality show than what is going on in DC are the ones at these protests. I can't watch anything about it. I can't listen to it on the radio. My favorite Sirius station is Jam On. I had to change it yesterday when the host was going on in support of these 99%ers. I am at my wits end. I have heard too often numbers thrown around as income that is "too much". Really? At what point does someone get that job? To ascertain who makes too much? These people also have no clue how small businesses work and taxes.

OH I am so over it. No more. No more talking about this from me. I have to stop this now. I get all shaky and red in the face. LOL
