High Shoals?

Ah man, I had no clue there was anything like that in Paulding. I will def visit this soon. Love hiking and waterfalls. Gotta get back out there hiking!!!

I've wanted to visit there for years, and have never been. I always forget about it when I'm thinking of doing something like that.

I know! Same here! MrB and I were talking about it and we're going to try to go as soon as we get moved.

Aren't you guys long time Paulding residents? LOL Even I have been there! (Son actually took pictures of the falls back in elementary school for the county Reflections contest. He won. :) )
Sometimes the water is just a trickle and sometime the area is pretty littered. :( Overall it is a nice little fall.

I'm not. I'm originally from the Georgia state line just before you go into Chattanooga. I've been in the Atlanta area about 35 years, but only in Paulding about 15. I lived in Cobb prior to moving to Paulding.

15 years is a long time! :laugh

I'm not, either. I'm also from Chattanooga, but the north side of it. I've been in Paulding since 2004. We hadn't planned to be here this long, lol. So I'm just now starting to venture out of my neck of the woods. I guess I may as well deal with what I've been given. LOL

You haven't hit the ten year mark so you still haven't been here long. :thumbsup GD has. :))

Just past the church on the right, there is a fenced parking area on the left by the old cemetary.
Right next to the civil war era cemetary you will see a path, just a short 5 minute walk to the falls.

(Best time to go is after a whole lotta rain... fun place
for the kiddos to explore and play in the shallow pool.)
