Congratulations to UGA's equestrian team on winning their record breaking 7th national championship in Waco, TX. They defeated number 4 ranked SMU to clinch the title. I know football gets all the attention but these girls and horses are amongst the best if not the best program in the country. Their coach is from Powder Springs and she is possibly the best in the country as well. My wife and myself have competed in horse shows for over 30 years. We do not compete in the same events as these girls but we know the commitment and horse/rider teamwork it takes to win. Go Dawgs.
