How can the Left reconcile Jimmy's words?

I always thought Jimmy Carter was a decent man that should have never been President. Here lately, every time he stubs his toe it makes national news because he is the oldest living former president, but this morning I heard him say something on the radio that the Left has no choice but to ignore. When asked how he was doing, he responded in summary that people need to ask God for complete and confident faith that there is life after death IF a person believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. It was along those lines.

The Left defends there own come Hell or High Water....every time, but I doubt we'll hear much if anything at all about his statement today. To say anything similar themselves is not only unheard of, but would literally burn their tongue if they attempted to say it. I suppose he'll get a pass since he is so old and clearly out of his mind. At least, that's how the satanic Left will look at it.

I thought I read that he had no doubt about life after death... at least that is what was in print... I guess they edited him. The article was saying after his injury he was back teaching Sunday school.

He was a crappy President, but he's a good man. He would be shunned by the party as intolerant, weak, and ignorant if he were to run on his personal merits today.

Isn't that a true symbol of how much the party has been corrupted by the socialists.

He is a good man, and deserves major kudos for his humanitarian work.

But the guy has said some things in recent years that seriously makes me wonder how far the elevator is from the top. I wish he would get out of the political spot light and let us remember him for his work with Habitat.
