If you are planning to buy a gun....

I bought a gun from AO in Smyrna back in January. They finally confessed to me last week that Smith and Wesson was backordered for six months. The Chief found my gun, brand new, from a dealer in Ohio. They had one, the one she ordered. It is a Smith and Wesson, Model 27, 357 mag. You wouldn't think it was that hard to find. So I got a different gun, a Smith and Wesson, Model 686, 357 mag from AO that they had in stock. They had one. I am having them both delivered to my gun dealer here.
The Chief and I went to our gun dealer in Savannah to do the paperwork to get both guns transferred to them. Yes, it is apparently easier to buy an American gun in Mexico than it is in the United States. They said they were having trouble keeping guns in stock. They told us guns were flying out the door. They said Ruger wasn't taking new orders at all until May. Colt was backordered for months and we already know about Smith and Wesson.
People are afraid (probably justified) of what is going to happen to our gun rights should Obama get reelected.
I think I'm going to buy some stock in gun companies. If you plan on buying a gun anytime soon (or ammo for that matter), you had better not wait. I imagine it will get much worse between now and November.

I have my guns and am ready. Including my 2 AR 15's, Spas 12, Walther PPKS, Glock and S&W 645 8)

I have plenty of guns, it's ammo I need to stockpile. Of of the local cops I know has stashed away 8000 rounds for his personal AR15. He said he thinks the S will be hitting the F soon. We had a good discussion about that.
I do my best to limit myself to 38, 357, 9mm, 12 ga and 223. I'm stockpiling as much as I can.

Have you guys seen the "Doomsday Preppers" show? Its interesting and makes you think.

Although some of the people are nuts.

Now that I know y'all are armed, I promise to be nicer to some of you folks....
