IMO the goal may well be to keep negative attention on Trump...
By having 'splash' events that the MSM will cover.

They have more or less worn out the Mueller investigation... few folks I hear from, believes Mueller is credible anymore...
 
Trump may have some primary challengers to deal with. Flake comes to mind. Speaking of Flake, is it just me or does he always look like he's about to cry? None of them will be successful but a couple may try.

Flake blew it during the Kavanaugh hearings. He's a left leaning libertarian-lite who is a fiscal conservative, but way over the line on social issues.
 
I think Warren will be a great foil to Trump... he will love running against her. I also think she rose to prominence during the 2008 financial crisis ... Trump will point out how the administration made things worse, and only since Trump's presidency has there been a resurgence of economic prosperity.

He might point out how GM who was bailed out while she was involved is outsourcing again, and how the unions were given power, and now again GM is screwing the American people.

The opponent that scare me the most is having the Other Obama run.

Her approval rating is very high and I could see all the Democrats and many of the non-partied voting for her if the choice were her and Trump.
 
IMO there is plenty of dirt on Ms Obama...

Whether that dirt can be aired... is the question.
