And the wind is really howling out there. Lots of rain too. Still have power. Bursitis is really hurting. So I’m up icing my hip.

It's still pretty windy here in Mableton. Not a ton of rain though. Based on the radar it looks like it should be over here any minute now...I hope.

I got a little worried about 3:30, sounded like a tornado going through but it was just wind gust. We lost power temporarily a few times but it came back on fairly quickly each time. We had lots of small limbs in the yard but no trees down, the fence is still up, and there doesn't appear to be any structural damage.

Got called in at 5:30 this morning to Cartersville. Thirty foot pole light down across hospital entrance. Had to cut two trees out of driveway and head out. Dodged several trees blocking one lane on way to four lane. Smooth sail to Cartersville until I got near 41 and found cut through blocked by a fallen tree. Detoured and got to site. Disconnected power and moved pole out of the roadway with a JD tractor. Back home mid morning. Power never went out at home but internet just came back up.

It was terrible up here. Lots of trees down in our neighborhood. They had to cut and clear several trees blocking the entrance to our subdivision. Our power went out around 6am and it's still off.

US41 at Mack Dobbs Rd is horrible, the lights are out and the "4 way stop" 'thing isn't working. (People are idiots) 41 is backed up nearly 1/2 a mile in both directions.

Dad and Moms power is out and I didn't want him dealing with the generator in his condition, so I headed over to set it up once it became clear that power wouldn't be back on soon. coming down his road a tree is suspended across the road on the power lines that have been ripped completely loose from one of the poles. I suspect that it's the cause of the 41 outage too, so I'm hoping it gets pushed up in priority.

However got the generator going, so they have lights, ceiling fans and can use the microwave.

What a freaking mess. I can't imagine being in Alabama where the damage is much worse. They are talking days to get power back on everywhere here, it may be weeks in Alabama.

Been blowing leaves for 2-3 hours, and that's just the pool area.

Now gotta go scoop leaves out of the pool

power still out, had to go buy gas for the genny. I haven't seen hide nor hair of a power company truck.

Still no power,,, currently forming the vigilante crew to go power truck hunting! Called Greystone and they proudly informed me that our ticket was cancelled, as someone reported our power is back on. I insured them that was not the case,,, but now we are at the bottom of the list again!!!

I have very close connections to GreyStone and I assure you they have been at it 24/7 since the storm. They had 60k outages Thursday. My own brother is still out but a line crew just got there about two hours ago.

Latest word is, there is a line down at the back of the sub division but they don't have a bucket truck available to fix it,,, meantime they cut power to the back half and restored power to the front half, (which has the Hardy Family member). That operation required a bucket truck to completely remove the jumper to the back half!!! I HATE ALL UTILITIES!!!!!!

Mine was cancelled twice. We live in the woods and lost our transformer before the rest of the neighborhood went dark. It serves only 2 houses and the neighbor is out of town. I can't even get a real person on the phone, I'm not sure how you did that.
