JR\'s Consumer Reports

It is rare that I buy any "TV Junk", especially since most of them are rip-offs. But I broke down and ordered a couple of cans of this Flexseal stuff...

It's INSANE that they charge and extra $9 for shipping and handling the second can. How stupid do they think we are? You run to the shelf, pick up 2 cans, put them in a box and PRESTO-CHANGEO....You're done!

They ONLY reason I'm trying this stuff is because I have a couple of after-market headlights in my F-150 that are not sealed wery well and allow condesation to build up. People have written on the internet to apply a bead of ATV sealant around the seams....which I did....but it DOES NOT WORK :BH

So....I went to the Deep Homo Home Depot and asked the door dude if they have an equivalent of the Flexseal spray as "shown on TV". I got the old deer in the headlights look and a Scooby-Do "Whaaaaa"!?

Anyway, after I use this stuff, JR's Consumer Reports will let you know how it does. I must admit....my hopes are NOT high :'(

Hey you never know! Some things have started out as infomercials and now they are mainstream everywhere.

If it don't work with the headlights, maybe we can seal Guard Dad's thong in place  :whistle :laugh

Dude, you shoulda told me. We've used that stuff for years in HVAC to patch drain pans.

It's similar to the do it yourself bedliner stuff.

I wish I had thought about it. Can you spare a tad if this stuff don't work? :'(

I can get you a can, but I think it's the same stuff as what you bought.

The silicone should have worked. But you have to dry them out first or you're just sealing the moisture in.
