Reading some of the background, I think the mom needs mental treatment herself. Kids play at dress up all the freaking time, sometime in other gender's clothing esp at 3 YO. How the heck are they supposed to know the difference? LET THEM BE KIDS.
Exactly! This is a child, children that age don't know what they want for dinner yet.
Let children be children. If the boy wants to do this when he's of age, then whatever, so long as he can pay for it. What's actually happening here is the mother forcing either her mental illness or political agenda onto the child. IMO, this procedure should be stopped and DEFACS should consider removing the child until the mother can be evaluated.
