That hurts me just thinking about it. Kidney stones suck big time. Hope you feel better soon.well i had to go in for a lithiotripsy procedure today i had a a 4 mm kidney stone blasted not fun my back hurts a bit
Diet Coke seems to be a big culprit of Kidney Stones.
I like me a cold Diet Coke once in a while.... but it's not the best trade-off.
Along with Iced Tea, Beets and Potato Chips!!! I was reading the diet classifications after my lithiotripsy and in one place it banned "Mixed nut without peanuts" and in another class it banned "Mixed nuts with peanuts"!!! At that point I threw out the list.
Never got those Popeye muscles, huh?also.... spinach
really? spinach?
I used to eat spinach most everyday.... not anymore.
true story:
I ran the San Diego Marathon ( 26.2 Miles ) and passed a kidney stone at the same time.
It was a long day......
The last kidney stone that I passed, I saved it; it's huge.
It's also responsible for me setting a personal best of puking in 6 different rooms in just one afternoon in a Scottsdale Hospital.
(they love me there).
Lithotripsy is a GodSend.... I had it done once and would do it again in a nanosecond.[/QUOTE
Ouch
Ouch! Praying all goes well.Well, guess what.... going in tomorrow AM for Lithotripsy and having a stent.
This current stone is mammoth and the sixth one I've had since 2003.
Looking forward to having this behind me, for sure.
