Local judge flips out when confronted

That's not local. If you read the YouTube description, you see that it is from Russell County, Kentucky...

Here's the text:

RUSSELL COUNTY Kentucky; USJusticewatch.Com has obtained a copy of a video recording of a hearing held in Faller v. Tarter wherein the Circuit Judge, Honorable Vernon J. Miniard, Jr., deals with local Commonwealth Attorney (former) Larry Rogers. At this hearing Rogers had filed a motion to quash a subpoena issued by Faller to take Rogers deposition. Rogers stated concern to the Court was that if he is deposed he believes he will be indicted. Rogers reaction was to make threatening innuendos to the Court about jury tampering which was not well received. This case is still ongoing as are many other related issues and cases which will be featured on USJusticewatch.Com in the coming days.

Ummm, that's what I mean by local. There's local (city/county wide), state level, and supreme court, I know there are other terms, but there 3 are the most used.

I thought local meant around these parts. :dunno

Are we supposed to have an opinion on the subject? Seems to me I just wasted some of my valuable rest time.

Yes of course, isn't every topic supposed to open up for opinions on the subjects and/or matters?
Jesus Christ! lol

Ok. I will comment on what happened.
The judge was justified in getting angry. I've seen far worse than that from judges for far less.
The attorney accused the judge of jury tampering, I'm surprised the attorney wasn't held in contempt.

Judges should be expected to react when accused of being corrupt, particularly in open court.

Amen! I know a couple of judges in Atlanta that would blow a gasket if the words "jury tampering" were even mentioned. I could have responded to the video question for the attorney - you want to get some deponents on video and not just on paper so people can see how the deponent was behaving during the deposition and chances appear to be very good that this guy was being a jackass in the depo and didn't want to get caught doing it on camera.

Agreed.
The attorney wasn't getting what he wanted so he decided to attack the judge.
Dumb move.
Most people don't react well when accused of corruption. This just happened to be on film.

I am curious as to what LL's point was though.

I'm not sure that he had one... :dunno
