I have been putting off going to a dentist for a while. Lets just say I need some new teeth. Any way I don't have dental insurance, and my health insurance will cover some stuff as long as it is billed as medical. So, I need to pay out of pocket for the beginning stuff. My question is who is a good dentist for a chicken like me???

Dr. Hester in Kennesaw ... specifically ask for hygienist Edna. She is AWESOME and perfect for chickens.

We use Distinctive Dentistry for the adults in our family. My husband is a HUGE chicken! And he likes Dr. Shirley. Chickens should also avoid Dr. Aronoff.

Well I went to the dentist. Thank you Madea. The folks at Distinctive Dentistry were very nice. So, basically I need right at 5k to begin with. Of course I don't have 5k, but I could pay as I go. Does anyone know a dentist that will do this? I have already called Hiram dentist, affordable dentures, and about 5 others. Does anyone have any ideas?

Personally, I would use the "pay as you go" route. Just figure out what you can afford per month and see what you can have done for that amount. I would not want to go into debt for dental work if I didn't have to.

Have you tried Dr. Warren in Hiram? He is great!!
Yep, I called them, and they don't do payment plans.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking I'm going to have to do. It's just really frustrating having to deal with this. Yes, I know it's my own fault, and I am kicking myself, but it is what it is.
