Hello All; Needing some input on a new (new to me) accounting Book keeping..Ok I now use Quick Books and have found this one. http://lessaccounting.com/ . Just curious if anyone else has used this, it claims to be less stressful while doing your books,and ALOT quicker & easier..Anyone else used it or heard of it from others?? Thanks

Talk to your accountant to see what they use or recommend. If you do not have an accountant, get one. It will save you money in the long run!

I also learned the hard way myself...but it was a large Company I tried to do it for myself,I did however get a CPA then..But I'm very Small Business so Im just looking for an easier & simple way to do my books..which QBooks is but just looking at other options... :whistle

Quickbooks is a good program. But unless they have changed their program greatly, you will need an accountant to set up all the various accounts you may need. Maybe take a couple of classes on QB.

I think I'm still using the 2004 edition. lol I'm sure it's changed some since then. :dunno

I have the 2010 it's changed somewhat but I just have basic not the Pro One..it serves it's purpose well ....this 1 I was speaking of seems to just put everything in it's place without u having to enter it in certain locations That's what I like about it,so less time consuming for me I'm guessing.

Awhile back, there was an accountant program called "Cougar Mountain" people were raving about.

I just looked it up and the cost is $1599.00. That's pretty costly.
