New Garden Boxes

Mrs. Jack Russell

Stunt Driver
Our old garden boxes have been rotting for several years. We took them out and rebuilt boxes. Well, I demolished most of what I could and helped cut the wood to build the new boxes. My husband and his brother worked the hardest. Oh I did help move dirt. The boxes are bigger and we had to fill them with more dirt. Oh my aching back.

Pure awesomeness MrsJR!! I saw the old boxes mei lan they were not in an enclosed area, just on the side of the yard. Wait til they get all the stuff in there for the beans to grow on and the other supports they use.

MrJR is very good at this kind of stuff, you should see what he did to my camping trailer. It's almost like a camper minus a kitchen sink and potty room.

Ah. I was wondering because of a) the deer, and 2) it looked like some sort of posts in the background.

Way to make the rest of us feel all inadequate...

( just kidding...) :)) :)) :))

Nice BIG garden... that is some serious work. :CLAP :CLAP :CLAP

:)) I feel that way in every thread about gardening!

The garden has a fence around it. It will probably have to be replaced soon. It's been there about 10 years and we can see signs of wear. My hubby is very anal and an over achiever. LOL All the rows are planted evenly and straight. I just know the seeds can tell the difference! NOT!!!

Thanks. This was hard labor and a labor of love.
Willie, as far as the dirt, we used the exsisting dirt that has been in our old boxes and then composted stuff we had in our back yard and another place.

Wow!! Y'all are going to be able to grow a ton of pot plants!!!
But, seriously, that's pretty nice work. I wish I had more room to do something like that.
