I think so
Ha.... duck duck go search says Yoko Ono is a Japanese multimedia artist, singer,:cantbelieve::sick: songwriter ....88 years old - still kickin'

Yoko Ono is a Japanese multimedia artist, singer, songwriter and peace activist. Her work also encompasses performance art, which she performs in both English and Japanese, and filmmaking.
Born:February 18, 1933, Tokyo, Japan 88 years old

So that's how it's done. If Americans think you suck at singing just say, "Duh, it was in Japanese."

She's never been a singer.

That should be illegal!
There's one where John and Chuck Berry perform together on the Mike Douglas Show. She's beating a drum with her hand and all of a sudden, she starts making these weird sounds. It starts at the 1:20 mark. The sound engineer turned her mic off, which was evident later in the song when she picked it up again to "sing" but nothing came through. Look at Chuck Berry's facial expression when he hears her.

Horrible!

Even John wasn't all that with the supposed harmonies.

Chuck probably wished he would have passed on that one.

Yep, definitely Japanese (or an extinct bird of some sort)

Poor woman so jealous of those with talent. She "puts on a show" and does not even realize how talentless she is. And yet, like the emperor has no clothes, everyone treats her as though she is special because she has Lennon's money.

Truth be told, even Lennon didn't sound very good in that clip. Chuck saved the moment with his show.
