Prayer requests

I am so sorry. Praying for no covid and a healthy baby.

The loss of a parent to dementia/alzheimers or senility is one of the hardest things. You lose them, but their body is still there. The things they do, they would have NEVER done and it is frustrating. When they try to hurt others or behave in such a manor that is not who they ever were, is heartbreaking.

Praying for strength and healing for your family.

Update-

My daughter and the oldest girl tested negative. The youngest tested negative, but she's been fever free for two days, so hopefully past the worst of it.

COuld have been much worse. Thank you all
So how is your Son-In-Law, and is your daughter (and the kids) away from him so her/their negative stays negative... are they sure he actually has Covid, and not just a false positive?

So many questions my mind is worried about!

Good news, within Covid bad news....

Yeah, he has had all the unique symptoms. But he and the youngest are just mildly ill, nothing terrible.

Son-in-law has whipped the Wuhan and tested negative.

The youngest grand is still testing positive, but feels fine now.

As long as no one else in the house gets it, we might be out of the woods.
That is great! What did they give him that he got through it so quickly and tested negative? :dancing:

I know Trump tested negative quickly, but I thought that was the experimental Covid Treatment.

Everyone I have heard about, it took a month after they recovered from it to test negative.

I hope the young'un recovers quickly. :love1:

Nothing, he didn't even go to the doctor. It was a mild case.

Thank goodness.

Again, my fear is not getting sick, but the time required to test negative.

My mom's neighbor, and one of our workers, (who thankfully chose not to come back to work because she was pregnant- then got covid from her husband while at home,) took over 1 month to have a clean covid test. They were each sick for almost a month. Each took almost 2 months to be able to work again after first contracting it.

So this begs a question... I have an employee that got covid. She was not working at the time because she had just gotten pregnant and chose to stay home, thank God, (back in April.)

Our corporate says all people must wear a mask, our state and city say all people must wear a mask. If you have had Covid... you really don't need to wear a mask anymore. The morons at my company and in our state probably have not even thought that end through... as more people have it and recover, they have no need to wear a mask.

I will say this again. I still have more employees calling out sick than I did before covid, of different ailments. Each time I do payroll, it is crazy how many I have who were out, because they were sick. AND, you can't come to work sick, because we take temperatures and ask questions about symptoms of Covid, which colds and such fit into.

I truly think we are touching the damn mask to adjust it and putting all sorts of nasty things by our eyes, nose and mouth causing other things to spread- more than we normally would without a piece of material (that we all know is not stopping a microscopic virus) moving all over our face.

Conventional wisdom says once you've had COVID, you are immune and can't catch or transmit it. The CDC and WHO have flopped around on this and are saying they aren't sure about how long immunity will last or if it will cover mutations.

So, I am not sure. But my personal and non-qualified opinion is that an individual would be immune, at least for quite awhile.

My liberal room mate, who watches Rachel Maddow, has since the beginning, said with conviction: you can catch it again. Her mom, who is the unit head nurse, caught it as did most of the other nurses... I will bet her mom won't catch it again

My poor roommate literally was in lockdown and hardly left our condo from March to October so afraid she would get it. (I am out everywhere and never at home and so far haven't gotten it.)

The whole fear thing is to make people afraid, stay home, be compliant and crash the economy. We are a whole lot of crazy in rules and lock down without the ability to come out of lockdown in the land of fruits and nuts- Kalifornia.

So far the people I know, just like your daughter's family; got it, recovered, and are fine.

News reports show those with underlying conditions, age or obesity don't fare as well... but even my roommate's step dad who is circling the drain with his health, had no problems with Covid, never even went to the hospital. They were sure if her mom got it and gave it to him, he would die... not even close, no issues.

Please say a prayer for an unspoken prayer request. I certainly appreciate it.
