In Paulding County, and do they charge, pay or accept it for free? I've heard, (only heard) that the recycling center takes most things for free then sells it to recycling centers. All electronics and paints are suppose to go to the recycling center, but I have no idea how the place works. While we do recycle a bunch of items, cardboard, #1 and #2 plastics, aluminum, paper, and glass, that we take to the center ourselves, I agree that trying to make it mandatory would likely cause a mess of regulation that would end up being worse.
It’s all free at the center except for bulk metal. That is inside the transfer station so you have to pay $20 to get in. So I combine that with dump runs.
