Sen. Kennedy stumps Biden nominee with basic questions about the Constitution

Irony from the comments:

In my 20 years as a heart surgeon, I have never had to do that procedure before, but don't worry, I will read up on it before I do the surgery.

My 4 undergrad years and 3 law school years were focused on diversity & inclusion. We really didn't deal with things like the Constitution or law. Could you ask me something about intersectionality?

It's actually worse than that. It's the equivalent of asking a heart surgeon "what does the mitral valve do" or "what does the sinus node do". Less obscure, it's like getting a blank stare from your mechanic when you ask "what does the battery in my car do"?

We've got one on there now that cannot define what a woman is.

"In my 12 years as an assistant attorney general, in my nine years as a judge, I was not faced with that precise question," Bjelkengren said. "We are the highest trial court in Washington state, so I'm frequently faced with issues that I'm not familiar with, and I thoroughly review the law, I research, and apply the law to the facts presented to me."
Reminds me of those essay tests where if you don't know the answer, just make up a non-answer in as many words as possible, and hope no one realizes you said exactly nothing.

Yum! Word salad! Pass the dressing!
