Rolling down the highway
Got a contract that we're going to lose $7,000.00 off the bat. Specs are an important part of every job, too bad they don't always get read!!

Is that the one you told me about the other day?
Yep. I just don't know how we can do this job with that big a loss up front. But we will have to, somehow we'll survive I guess. I'm just worried about some others, too.

:( That sucks.

We recently did a lot of rebuild and repair work for a local major "power company" and the estimate was way off. We are losing 5k. They will not budge, either, claiming we quoted a certain amount.

Sorry, hun. I hope you are able to somehow able to reclaim your costs. We are going to be able to bury it in future orders - is that something you can do?

Yep, we'll have to take the hit and hope we can recoup somewhere else. Times are just so tough right now, this is going to be a hard hit.

You know when you pay someone to do a job, is it too much to ask for them to do their job???
