Our neighborhood shindig has been postponed until Sunday, but that's because a group is going to the Braves game and another to Lenox.
 
Did you see where Villa Rica postponed theirs until Aug 31st?! That seems a little far off, don't you think?

As of right now, Marietta is still on. They did theirs in the rain last year, but this year is supposed to be worse, I believe.

I did see that. They were pushing it until Labor Day weekend. :dunno Maybe so it will be another time with vendors and music?
Marietta is announcing today. (according to an email I received)

According to NOAA, three straight days and nights of heavy rain/thunderstorms. I don't think anything necessarily severe is expected.
