Speaking of dogs

My poor pooch doesn't feel good for some reason. Might be arthritis, but she's just laying around and doesn't want to walk or anything. She's getting old, I worry about her. :(

Oh don't you wish they could tell us what is bothering them? So sad. :(

It's sad to not know what a dog is feeling. My puppy is nine, and stills acts like a puppy but age is slowing him down a bit. And I am glad he can't speak as all I could imagine would be nonstop...feed me, let me out, take me for a truck ride, give me a treat, fluff up my pillow, etc

I'm sorry to hear your dog isn't feeling well. It's tough to see them in pain as they are a member of the family.

She wouldn't even eat last night. But she seems to be some better this morning.

When my little one is having back problems she does not want to eat so I mix some baby food in with her dry food and she will usually eat that.

She's about 13 years old now, and rain was moving in, so that might have been it.

Oh bless her. You need to get her a rocking chair and a shawl. ;) One of my friends had an older doggie and she would only let her wear purple (collars, sweaters) because she said older women look beautiful in purple. :love

Talk with your vet about an aspirin per day. You can also give her an arthritis supplement, just make sure you talk with your vet. If you have a space heater. or a heating pad (always set on low) you can set her bed up with it/them. Sometimes the heat helps the soreness.

Well, she's not feeling so well again this morning. Looks like a visit to the vet may be in order for Friday.

Took her to the vet this morning because she's not doing well. Vet says he's pretty sure it's arthritis and the weather change has her in a mess. So he gave her some meds and gonna see her again next week.

Poor baby, just looks up at us with those sad eyes. :(

I hate when they are sick, because they (like babies) can't tell you what's wrong. :(

She took her medicine and seems to be some better tonight. Always a good sign when she begs for an oatmeal cream pie. :p

Long story. I love the things, and used to eat them all the time when I had a higher R-value. So much, that my daughter named them "Daddy Pies". Doggie came to like them as much as I do, and anytime she sees one or hears the cookie jar lid she begs (see pic above).

I rarely eat them anymore, but wifey buys them for the pooch. Yes, Little Debbie doggie treats.
