I know some parents who are letting their high school children go to Panama City for Spring Break without adult supervision. I see that as a recipe for disaster.
 
Daughter Reacher will be 19 this year and is in college, but we didn't permit that and made it clear enough early on that the question never came up. I guess you know how I voted. 8)
 
What the heck is wrong with these parents? This is another example of parents not wanting to be parents, but want their kids to think their cool. It's no wonder so many babies are having babies and kids dropping out of high school.
 
No way, no how would my children have gone without adults. When my twins were in high school, their high school baseball team usually took a trip to plan in tournaments in Florida during Spring Break but they had plenty of adult supervision - including a head coach that kept a "very tight rein" on them as well as a lot of us parents. Still had a great time!
 
The only time our daughter went out of town on spring break without us; it was with her aunt.
 
I voted yes.... But I haven't had kids yet. I went to Charleston, SC my senior year with no parents. There was a group of 8 or 9 of us.

It was spring break, before graduation my senior year. I don't know they would have let me go to Panama City, though. And never was allowed 9-11th. Just senior year.
