A dethatcher, lots of raking, lime, seed, fertilizer...

I think I'm winning the war. Don't mind the mower lines.

Was the moss growing where we see the lines?

No, that's from the mower wheels.

See the light green on the bank? That's what about half the ground looked like. I haven't yet decided if I'm gonna leave the moss on the bank or dig it up.

LOL, I figured those were mower lines. I was just wondering if the moss was growing there because it's a low spot and would stay wet for a long time making it very attractive to the moss. If that's moss on the bank, it will encroach on the grass below it pretty quickly. I would remove the moss from there as well or you'll be forever fighting it in the low spot.

I probably will, just gotta get time. The lime will help too.

I over-watered it last year, no doubt.

Looks nice. Stop by my pool within the next week and work on my area. You and Jack/Grey can ride together, so he can work on my garage/basement at the same time. ;)

Here's one after the grass stood back up some. Still a couple of thin spots, but coming along.

Can't you cut it so that it has a pattern like the baseball fields? :laugh
