This could get good

The House Intel committee voted along party lines and passed a motion to release a memo detailing the corruption behind the fake Trump dossier and how it was used to obtain a FISA warrant. Democrats claim the release of the memo will harm national security and ongoing investigations. What the Dems actually mean is the release of the memo will show the American people how corrupt the DNC was in a failed attempt to ensure a Clinton victory in the presidential election and also how corrupt the Justice Department was under Obama in their participation. The Dems know the memo will severely hurt their chances of gaining senate and house seats in the mid-term election, as well as hurt them in the next presidential election.

The release of the memo is now up to Trump. I suspect he will use the memo as a negotiating tool for the wall and other things he wants to accomplish.

I hope he just releases it. Let the chips fall as they may.

It will also hopefully point out how easy and common it is to to abuse the FISA process. FISA is perhaps the most dangerous law ever passed. It needs to be shot down by SCOTUS.

The law practically directs a FISA judge to issue a warrant whenever law enforcement says that information is being withheld for security reasons, or if the subject is a target of a terror investigation. Somehow everything from drug dealing or pornography to smuggling automobiles out of the country or tax evasion are terror related.

FISA also doesn't limit data collection to a target. DOJ uses three degrees of separation, where one warrant can easily expose tens of thousands of innocent American's information to be used as LE sees fit. Security experts estimate that since the law was passed, every adult citizen has had their data collected and a majority have had that data electronically scanned for key words or images. Hundreds of thousands have had eyes on at least one communication.
