UGGHHH!

It seems no matter how hard I try, just can't get ahead of anything!!

Hubby's truck broke down last night. We have a horrible sinking feeling he blew the motor up. I am sitting here now trying to figure out how to get it from downtown Hiram to Nicks on Rosedale without paying a wrecker service 40 bucks to haul it less than 3 miles. If it is the motor, I don't know what we will do. I am working 2 jobs now to save up to buy my kid a car but that most likely won't happen now until the truck is fixed. UUGGGHHH I could just cry! It's like that saying goes...you take a step forward and end up taking 3 steps back. :rant :rant :rant :tapfoot2 :tapfoot2 :'(

Call your insurance company. They may cover a tow up to so many miles. Mine does. I think it is up to 5 miles.

Sorry for all the stress. $$$ is no fun. Wished I could help. But $40 is not a bad price for a tow. Last time I paid $150 for 7 miles

Make your baby buy their own car ( I am mean like that) I made mine do it. Lol

didn't even think of that! Thanks MrsB...I just checked our insurance card and it says we have emergency roadside service coverage so maybe they will. I will check when they open at 9

Well we tried that...babygirl applied for a job just about everywhere in Hiram. She was told by more than one manager they were not hiring teens as much anymore because they could pay adults with more experience the same pay. My kid has never worked so she doesn't have any experience. She is working with me on weekends now at DB's to help out. So that will be extra $$ going toward her car.

It's just another one of those times where it seems like my walls are crashing around me. I will just keep telling myself, this to shall pass

yep cause she doesn't have a way to get there right now...that's why we were strapped to Hiram area. The only place she didn't apply to was McDonald's and CFA...those are next on her list. She will complete her temp job at DB in March then she'll apply at fast food places. We were hoping to have her a car by then and then she could apply wherever she wanted and could drive there. It is what it is...I will say over and over...This to shall pass, this to shall pass, this to shall pass.

You know amazing how that works..when you just turn it over to God and say ok, it's in your hands now I can't worry about it anymore, its amazing at the level of peace and comfort that comes over you and then when you get that call that says it is not the motor that it will be a simple fix (a little expensive) but one that won't break my bank!!! Praise Jesus! I was so so worried yesterday morning and I am thankful to say it's not major!!!

Excellent news. NG is correct, of course. It's just really, really hard to do sometimes, because you can't see the forest for all the trees. We do the best we can, but the rest is in His hands. If He wants it to happen, it'll happen.
