Update: Arrest Made in Murder at Country Gardens Apartment Complex

(Paulding County, GA) On Monday July 12, 2021 Deputies with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office served multiple arrest warrants at 101 Ivy Brook Drive Dallas, GA 30157. Deputies arrested Octavious Leonce Bates (B/M, 29 YOA) without incident, for the murder of his half-brother Lindsey Darnell Foster (B/M, 31 YOA).
The murder took place on July 2, 2021 at the Country Gardens Apartment complex which is located at 58 Harmony Path Dallas, GA 30157. During the course of the investigation, Detectives also determined that Bates’ girlfriend, identified as Kristen Taylor Moore, (B/F, 28 YOA), was involved in helping to cover up the incident. Moore was also arrested at the Ivy Brook Drive address as well. Both individuals have been charged with the following offenses and are being held in the Paulding County Jail without bond.

-Possession of a Firearm During the
Commission of a Crime (F)
-Tampering With Evidence (F)
-Stalking (M)
Kristen Taylor Moore:
-Hindering Apprehension or
Punishment of a Criminal (F)
-Tampering With Evidence (F)
