So at lunch I braved going to Walmart in Hiram.(yeah I know i must be nuts)..and keep in mind it's only 5 min from my office. When it took me almost 15 min to get there and just as long to get back...I realized...oh crap here we go..It's the Christmas shopping traffic in Hiram. I hate going out at lunch time this time a year...it takes so dang long to get anywhere....ok temper tantrum over :laugh
 
Not only is there more traffic this time of year ... drivers seem to get exponentially more stupid this time of year, too. And never mind the traffic laws, etc. ... they don't apply to even more folks during the holidays.

I have been listening to the scanner today and you can tell there is more traffic on the roadways cause there has been atleast 6 wrecks around the Hiram area today...geez.

There was a bad one at 278 in front of Chili's earlier

now there is one a really bad one at 92 and 120 I think they said...several people trapped included several children with cuts, one complaining of chest pains and all vehicles have air bag deployment. It sounds really bad. One fire truck just arrived and said 4 vehicles with heavy damage. Heard my nephew on the radio, he is responding with his fire unit to help with the trapped people. Prayers going out for all involved...it sounds really bad
 
Rescue just clarified..2 vehicles, 5 patients and 1 entrapment. Just called for a 3rd ambulance. East bound lanes of 120 are shut down.
