Who's going...

Gone fishing but no I am not a fan of his egotistic ranting. I am sure it will be the "biggest, greatest" rally in the history of the south. This post made me think that I will be in Florida election day/night. It might be interesting observing the reactions from the locals. While the north Florida/panhandle is pretty conservative the area I will be in seems to be 50/50 at best. A lot of the folks in that area have a dislike of republicans and Jeb Bush in particular. I know some of the ire has to do with Jeb's reforms in teacher tenure and public assistance programs (which sounds fine to me) but I really don't know the whole story. These folk are generally lower working class. The ones I know personally are fishing guides, mechanics, pulp wooders, food service, small business owners or government employees. I voted two weeks ago so I guess I will just observe.

Love this comment:
Mmm... just a few weeks ago the news media were filled with stories of how ill Trump must be due to the Covid, and whether or not it was time for the 25th Amendment to kick in.

Good times, good times.

The man is a machine. Despite being 74 years old, having just had COVID, being overweight, and rich enough to just say "F' it I don't need this" and going home to live a normal life with a his supermodel wife, he's still out there working like crazy.

It's what successful people do, and that's part of the reason they are successful.

Another comment I agree with:

I watched Trump today and I watched Biden. The former is energetic and has a very upbeat vision of the USA. Biden, like most lefties, is living in a dystopian country I am not familiar with.

We are living in the best moment in human history in arguably the best possible place. Typing this on a device that holds more art, more music, more poetry, more literature, more history, more science than was available to the richest men and largest libraries in all of time.

Biden went thirty miles from home. He is not up for the job. He is too tired.

He stressed it again today when he stated he only ran because Obama and Biden did such poor job the country needed him to run. That's a close paraphrase anyway and typical of his personality but that's ok with me. Just keep nominating constitutional judges and you can say whatever you want.
