Be on the Lookout for Cicadas
According to Nancy Hinkle of the University of Georgia, we will be experiencing a mass emergence of periodical cicadas in the next month or two. UGA is very interested in mapping their locations and obtaining any photos that may be taken by our public. If you notice the cicadas or have any photos from this year's emergence please contact Nancy at Insects@uga.edu or contact us at UGA/COBB COUNTY COOPERATIVE EXTENSION (770) 528-4070. We thank you in advance for your help to the University's entomology studies.
