Bankruptcies, Business Failures, Layoffs, etc

Not that we ever spent much there. (I guess we caused it after all)
We bought most of our outdoor furniture there. Nice stuff and pricing was good.

We installed a lot of the refrigeration for Big Lots when I had the business. Between them and Walgreens, I'm even more confident that I sold at the right time.

I guess this puts a lid on their future as a company.

Get it? Put a lid...Container Store... :D

Knock on wood, we’re still hanging in there, some we’ve worked with for years are not. Our saving grace is that we’ve never carried any debt. The freight industry is in sad shape right now.
Curious, with the trouble the freight industry is in, and the ever increasing shipping activity, is there some sort of "crash" coming on the horizon? I'm just thinking about how there seems to be more and more trucks on the road, more online shopping, etc.

It seems goes thru a cycle like this every 10-15 years but then flattens after the supply & demand for equipment balances out. The wild card is usually fuel prices. We’re seeing freight rates rising some now and as the availability of trucks are somewhat tightening.
