Yeh... why the "experts" never see this coming is how you know they were never experts in anything.

Newsom did the $20 an hour for fast food workers to California. Closures automation and layoffs have started. It will be interesting to see where it ends. I don't do much fast food. Have not done any since January. It was just too high then. I can cook a hamburger for less.
 
I don't do fast food much. Now I won't at all.

I hope it all crashes and makes Newsom look like the idiot he is. His budget has a deficit of $73 billion, and while paying fast food workers $20 an hour may increase payroll taxes, giving more to the guberment... with the layoffs and people just not going to fast food... it may all just come crashing down.

The worse he looks, the safer we are that he is not put in to replace Biden.

California will actually see its tax revenue decline because of this. More and more fast-food employees will be losing their jobs. No job, no taxes to collect.
