Your websites inspire me! LOLMadea said:Awesome, you are on a roll!

I sewed the blanket Saturday, and it turned out great. I did the binding on it yesterday, and not so great. It was so frustrating.
I was doing so good at first, then got over confident and went too fast. The stiching is good on one side, the others, eh. Anyway, it is the corners that had me in tears. I watched a tutorial on how to do this several times and it looked so easy when she did it.
Do you have any tips?
That's okay! It's not one posted on here, or on any of those sites. I found some material I liked and then Googled "How to sew a baby blanket" lol. I watched a tutorial on it. The blanket came out great - I just did a zig-zag stitch around the edges (pretty straight, too, right at the edge) with right sides facing. I left about a 3/4" opening to turn it right side out.Madea said:MrsB said:Madea, the binding was not easy. LOL

Which one are you doing? (Sorry, I missed this earlier. )
Thanks, Madea. I will try taht site for a tutorial and try again. The material might be on sale again, and if it is then I think I will get some more and do it again.Madea said:Sounds like you were doing good. Binding can be tricky, but you'll get it with practice. I haven't used it in a while. There are some great tutorials on binding. Try the sewwhatsnew site.
